The last weekend in July was filled with amazing people, stories and travelers. One of my favorite parts of this job is hearing amazing stories of how people met, what they are celebrating, where they are traveling, along with their first memories of the Mississippi River.

Most of the people that come out with us are first time paddleboarders. They are new to the sport but not to adventure and trying something new. Almost everyone comes with optimistic ideas of what will happen and we try to live up to these expectations. Some of our favorite memories include the spaniards wedding party who all flew in from South Africa, the bachelorette party of 16 who just happened to have one of our friends from The Wailing Loons, and the Sunset paddle celebrating their 2 month anniversary!
